LONELINESS IS REAL

Have you ever been in a room filled with people and felt like you were alone?
Have you ever felt isolated, even in a group setting?
LONELINESS IS REAL and can consume someone’s life. It can be based on an emotional, physical, or situational state. Or it can be something we create in our lives if we’ve built too many walls.
Many women I work with, in the beginning of our partnership, express symptoms of loneliness.
Feel unhappy doing many things alone
Feel you have no one to talk to
Feel no one understands you
Find yourself waiting for people to call or text
Feel unable to reach out and communicate with those around you
Feel it is difficult to make friends
Feel shut out or excluded by others
Have you felt these feeling? I believe we all do at times, but for some people, these feelings are consuming. What is your level of loneliness?
If so, I have good news. We can overcome loneliness! AND you have the power within you to do it. This change starts with you by doing the following:
Commitment to change
Break down your walls
Change your mindset
Reach out to others; take the first step
Be open to new relationships
Be open to let go of toxic relationships
Does this sound easy or overwhelming? To most who are suffering, I would imagine this sounds overwhelming. If so, I encourage you to seek help (therapist, counselor, or a coach). Having someone in your corner to help you through this chapter in your life can be life changing. You have the power to take the first step and ask for help. Do this for you!
