I am very excited about this book. It has been two years in the making. I wrote this book in hopes to help other people heal by sharing steps I have learned and that still help me today.

ABOUT THE BOOK -- I was a child from a divorced family. I made a commitment to myself that I would never get divorced. I would find the right love and build a happily-ever-after together. But a few years ago, I found myself going through a divorce. It was not what I wanted, but that is where I was.

Throughout this book, you will read many stories that may sound familiar or that may spark a memory from your past. Not everyone’s pain is the same, nor is anyone’s story. We all have pain and whatever your pain-stories are, big or small, it is real and it is time to heal and let them go.

As I sat on rock bottom after my divorce feeling lost and alone, I started to search for help. I wanted someone to tell me exactly what I needed to do to get back to a good place in my life. After researching, I found some amazing authors with wonderful advice. I knew I needed to heal, but I didn’t understand what I needed to heal until I really started looking at me.

This book was written to compile the steps that I used to heal, and that I continue to use to this day. I am not a mental health expert. I do not hold degrees in therapy or counseling fields. But what I have shared in this book are life experiences and the steps that helped me heal my heart, my soul and to find a better life.

Be kind to yourself and take at least one small right step. You are worthy. You are strong. You are loved. You are safe to start healing. You deserve peace, love and joy in your life. Open your heart to heal for you!
